The New Year…

…Is getting a slow start. New Moon, New Year, Winter is here. This densely-packed fall and transition into winter has certainly taught me that I need to slow down a bit and take time to be present; observe my energy and not push myself to the brink…anyone feel me on that?

It hasn’t all been lounging around though, I’ve been strategically working out the 2014 schedule to get solid productivity balanced with self-care and down time. I am lucky to say that I have a number of exciting events brewing up, but details are coming together slowly for some of them. Bear with me my friends!HEADSHOT1

I’m looking forward to new opportunities to work with Erin Taylor and all the ladies at Jasyoga this year! We’ve got some new anatomy-focused training sessions in store and we’re working on more delectable collaborations to boot. If you are interested in the finest yoga for athletes you’ll find anywhere, Jasyoga is a one-stop shop. Pre-event classes, weekly sessions, special sport-specific training and more. Runners, golfers, tennis players, soccer, football and basketball players…and ANYONE who has an active outdoor lifestyle will benefit from this unique approach to practice. Join the Reset Revolution!

I am also increasing my class load with CE-Pulse, offering more workshops on bodywork and self-care techniques throughout the year. There are many more exciting developments on the horizon for my LMP and Bodyworker compadres…I hope you’ll join me in class soon.

The Seattle Athletic Club Downtown has become a yoga-teaching haven for me. I’d really like to thank those students who have brought me into the fold with such sincere love and joy. I’m lucky to be a part of such a rich yoga family. Don’t forget! If you aren’t a member, you can still drop in to any of the classes for a $15 fee. I’m teaching every other Monday at 10:30am (1/13 is next up) and Thursdays at 10:30am and 7pm. While you’re there you can take advantage of their full cardio suite and weight rooms, pool, sauna, spa and steam (men’s and women’s separate). I hope to see you in there soon.

So stay tuned my friends! I’ll be announcing the details regarding workshops, extended yoga practices and special yoga sessions soon. You can hear about these directly by signing up for my newsletter. You will really only get updates on events and scheduling…I certainly won’t be filling your inbox…Of course, you can still find me on Facebook (both Richelle Ricard and Unity Therapeutic) and Twitter.

I look forward to seeing you soon!
